Termination of Employment

We provide advice, and sometimes representation, to people who have been fired. 

Employment Insurance

We provide advice with regards to entitlement to Employment Insurance benefits. We also will represent clients who are denied these benefits or have their benefits suspended, and have a meritorious case, in an appeal to the Social Security Tribunal. Other Employment Insurance issues we can look at include overpayments and entitlement to E.I. sickness benefits.

Workers’ Compensation

We provide advice with respect to entitlement to workers’ compensation benefits and services available through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. We will also represent clients who are denied Loss of Earnings benefits or who have their benefits suspended, and have a meritorious case, at the various levels of appeal. We may take on cases involving other issues such as entitlement to health care benefits, overpayments etc.,  depending on all the circumstances including the amounts involved.
